Evergreen Nursery Purchase and Shipping Information

OUR GUARANTEE

We use extreme care to keep our stock true to name and to ship only items that are healthy and living. On proper proof, we will replace all stock that may prove otherwise, or refund the amount paid. We will not be responsible for plants that die because of mistreatment, lack of water, over-watering, poor soil, or any other conditions beyond our control. Additionally, we will not be liable for any amount greater than the original purchase price of the plant material. We also cannot be held responsible for mistreatment of plants by any commercial shipping companies. We have no control over their treatment of the plants. NO CLAIMS WILL BE CONSIDERED UNLESS MADE IN WRITING WITHIN TEN DAYS FROM RECEIPT OF SHIPMENT.

SHIPPING OPTIONS:

Depending on what you need, we offer numerous methods of getting the products to you.  For scheduled deliveries within approximately 250 miles of Statham, GA, we have our own fleet of trucks.  (See Delivery Schedule.)

FedEx is a great option for shipping groundcovers and material that can be easily packed.  

FedEx LTL is a great system for getting shelf-ready material to you, most of the time it's a 1-2 day service, and we have locked in a rate for you.

DELIVERY CHARGES (OUR TRUCKS):

For scheduled deliveries made in our trucks, we have locked in some very competitive rates.  Please note that these are scheduled deliveries and not as flexible as LTL shipments.

PRICING/TAGGING AND UPCs:

For Garden Center customers we will provide picture tags at no extra charge.  If you want UPCs and pre-pricing, there is a charge of $.15 extra per pot; for UPCs without custom pricing, the charge is $.08 per pot.

TERMS:

We welcome orders by mail, email, website shopping cart, telephone or fax. All orders are shipped C.O.D. unless pre-paid by cash, check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express until credit has been established. (See below) Accounts over 30 days old shall become PAST DUE, and will be charged a service charge. Accounts 60 days past due will be placed on C.O.D. terms until balance is paid. Accounts 90 days and older will be considered for collections. We add a $25.00 handling charge for returned checks. All delinquent monies, plus interest, bounced check charges, collection costs, and/or all will be the responsibility of the customer.

CREDIT:

After you have paid for your first three orders according to our terms, if you wish to establish credit, please call and request a credit application, or print one from this copy and fax or mail it to us. All applications will be processed within seven days. We require a minimum of four references. Credit will be issued once we have received three favorable reports from these references. We will notify you when your credit has been approved. If you are a business in the state of Georgia, and you are tax exempt, please download this Sales Tax Exemption Certificate, fill it out and return it to us (along a copy of your Certificate of Registration) by mail or fax. These forms also need to be completed by any business in Georgia which is tax exempt, but who have not established credit terms. Without this documentation, we will have to charge you tax on each purchase.

ORDERING:

Plants must be ordered in full flat quantities.  This greatly improves and simplifies the packing process and also helps to ensure that plants arrive in good condition.  For your convenience, we offer most of our 4", 4.5" and Quarts in 10-count trays.  We offer many 4" groundcovers in 18-count flats, as well.  Orders placed with broken flat quantities will be filled with the number of the next full flat quantity.  Gallons and larger pots can be ordered individually.

WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR PLANTS ON ARRIVAL:

When your shipment arrives, if the boxes are damaged, please check the plants before you sign for their release. If there is damage to the plant material, please make record of it with the delivery service before signing the release. Take photos of broken pallets or crushed boxes.  If necessary, contact us for advice on whether or not to reject the shipment.

Once you have accepted delivery, check to see if the plant material needs watering. Place them in an environment conducive to the needs of the particular plant and/or weather conditions until they are planted or placed into inventory.
